About Us
Riverland Park is located on Darkinjung Country neighbouring Dharug Country and we pay our respects to the traditional custodians.
Formerly known as Riverland’s Caravan Park, the site has been a recreational park for over 50 years. Recently, the park has been completely upgraded, yet still provides a natural experience with the amenity of a well-maintained property. Environmentally sustainable products and practices are used at Riverland Park and our vision is to ensure the health of nature, the river and the lands is always the highest priority.
Your hosts, Tom and Kate, made the transition from Sydney to rural living in 2014. Tom is a builder and farmer who manages the small herd of gentle Belted Galloway cattle that roam allocated areas of the property. Kate has retired from the corporate world and now creates visual art inspired by her surroundings. Kate also has a flair for pet portraiture and is an exhibiting artist at the Ferry Artists Gallery in Wisemans Ferry. You may, at times, find Kate’s work on show at the Wombat Café.
